Chapter 6.3 – May 2022 – The girl by the Harbour Café..

This is the criminal hideout in Sprottenham, an abandoned peat factory a few kilometers outside of town. Back in the day, peat was the most easily accessible source of energy to heat houses and businesses in the areas around Sprottenham as the wetlands doesn't have much forest.
    In recent years, the amount of trees in the area has grown, but the area still by definition is comprised mostly wetlands, and doesn't really have anything that can be called a forest. Whatever criminal business Robert is up to, this is old factory is likely the headquarters...



Anyway, back at the Jiggens/Flansbarne household things were by the usual with Baturney and Agathi waking up to Iselin demanding attention.. Agathi found time to take care of her while Baturney got ready for work.



And finally Agathi found some free time to write on her novel, "The Zombie Kitchen" which had been greatly neglected for the past few months.. She handed in a few more chapters and got paid 38 simoleons by the publisher.



In the Gudmestad-Klinsmo household, things are looking fine, with Robert feeding Mark and Sandra getting ready to go to work.



A bit to my surprise she is actually working at the local school as a playground watch. So she is not really a criminal like her husband, atleast not on the surface maybe.. but I guess we should go with "innocent until proven guilty"...



After Sandra has left, Robert plays a bit with Mark, before walking out the door with him.. he seems to be heading towards the Harbour Park, and I wonder what he could be doing there..



There is usually a lovely and peaceful atmosphere of this town, with the soothing sound of waves crashing onshore and seabirds in the distance... usually.. Robert walks inside the Harbour Café where he meets up with this woman called Danicia Tomren, apparently he is doing some kind of business with her..



Robert: This will be your spot tonight, and you take 500 simoleons per client, and give half of it to me. Do we have an agreement?



Danicia:Yes, Mr. Robert, you are a very generous man, Mr. Robert.



Eddie Opsal (café owner): If she's gonna hang around here, I want at least half of what she makes!

Robert: You let her stay, and I'll let you keep your business, how's that for a deal?



Eddie: I want half, or I'll start talking.
Robert: 10 % and you get to keep your business.
Eddie: 25 and I'll keep silent.
Robert: 15, final offer, or your café is going up in smoke.



Eddie: Fine, fine, but only after dark! I don't want no whore hanging around here in broad daylight!



Satisfied with his deal, Robert went back home, and somehow left his baby boy Mark behind... anyway, on to more pleasant matters...



The news ticker notifies me that romance is blooming between Solvej and Patrik, and I suppose its true, because I find them staring deeply into each others eyes at the tattoo shop. :P



Agathi is still at home taking care of her babies. I guess one of the perks of being a writer is to walk around in your underwear all day...



Gaute increased his skill in fishing. Perfect home for an outdoors loving guy like him, to live right next to the park like that. Its almost as good as having your own private fishing spot in the backyard. ;)



Baturney finished his shift at the town hall, and got an invitation to a party over at Odin Borsønns residence. When the richest guy in all of town invites you to a party, you're not turning it down. ;) Its important for a politician like Baturney to keep friends with those that have money....



Dresscode: Formal wear of course, however the Borsønn/Ås family, though quite rich and with a taste for the finer things in life, are surprisingly down to earth people....



At the party Baturney meets one of his many long time friends, Jørgen Klinemann, and they keep discussing their own families. Jørgen Klinemann is married to Chansa Beadoux and has two daughters, Samira and Celine.



Baturney walks upstairs to make funny faces with Frigg Ås (she is Odins wife) and again they keep discussing family. Frigg and Odin has two daughters, Oda and Hermine, and two sons, Tor and Balder.



Baturney goes downstairs for a drink and to repeatedly turn on and off a tv, even though there is no tv in that room, while Frigg is showing her devotion to Odin by handing him flowers.



And then some, before they go upstairs to have some fun, but that is not for us to see. ;)





Agathi finished her shift at work, and got promoted to level 5, and is now a stage worker.



Baturney keeps trying to turn on and off that tv, not realizing that it is actually a window he is pointing the remote at... how much juice did you have? Maybe you should go home? Get some sleep, no?



He goes on to practice some pool, when Edna Ravnås comes in to talk to him about the latest in high heeled fashion.



She finds him again out in the hallway when he is about to leave, and decides to hand him flowers, but he is not to interested..



"Thanks, but no thanks! I appreciate you wanting to give me those flowers, but I have a wife and kids at home, sorry, I can't accept those."



So he left the residence and went back home, just in time to give Ruben breakfast and perhaps get a few minutes of sleep...
