Chapter 6.2 - April 2022 - Babies and umbrellas...

Before the Flansbarne/Jiggens family even wakes up, I am informed that Selma Vaddelmyr (nee Gunnerud), one of Agathis and Leyas colleagues at the theatre, is pregnant. Though she doesn't look very pregnant right now. :P



Agathi and Baturney wake up to Iselin crying, and Baturney begins to question why they even bothered to have children.... right now this doesn't at all feel like the life he wanted...



It's certainly not easy being a parent, and both of them eat their breakfast in complete silence. What a luxury that must have been. :P



Baturney goes to flirt with Agathi and I hope for Agathi to respond by doing something romantic in return, but she is just being her usual self and instead wants to run an inkblot test on Baturney...



Today is Love Day and Baturney wants to take his family to the park, he is just waiting for the weather to clear up... Hanging out during a heavy thunderstorm isn't very tempting...



The weather forecast didn't look very promising, so he decided to give Ruben some potty training instead...



While waiting for the weather to improve, I locate Solvej being very pregnant and playing foosball at the Youth House of Science. She is due this month and I expect her to go into labor any minute now...



...but nothing really happens, so I look up Robert the criminal mastermind, and he is speeding around in his brand new sports car...



He stops by the house of the Xie-Luo family (the green house) and goes to ring the doorbell..



The Xie-Luo family consists of Jingguo, a police officer, and Dongmei that works in the military.. Surely, he cannot be friends with this couple?

Well, it turns out, as he exits, that he actually went in there to buy their house. So now he is the landlord of a police man... what next? Is he going to buy the police station, too? And turn the town into a haven for criminals, maybe? I hope not.. Its pretty peculiar how this man has so much money, because I keep getting notifications about other households in town struggling to pay their bills and acquiring debt... something here is just not right... :P



Anyway, the weather finally cleared up by some magic wave of a hand, or maybe someone upstairs just closed the faucet, I don't know... so that the Jiggens/Flansbarne family finally could make their way to the festival without getting soaked or risking a lightning strike..



This is young Iselins first day out. She is still just a baby, but mom and dad thinks it will to do her good anyway, to get a trip outside to get some fresh air and see a little more than just the ceiling above her crib...



And the same goes for Ruben of course, even if he is a little older, he still needs his parents to actually go somewhere..



Its probably good for mom and dad, too, to go out and do something different and perhaps meet some new people. I never thought Agathi would be the kind to enjoy going for a dance, but why not? ;)



Baturney goes to a play a game of horseshoe with Chansa Beadoux Klinemann. She is married to Jørgen Klinemann and has two daughters, Samira and Celine, but be wary of her.. she can be a little flirtatious. :P

Baturney goes for some face paint, Agathi keeps on dancing and Chansa goes to care for Iselin.





This dancing is very uncharacteristic of Agathi, but hey.. you can't dwell in darkness all the time. ;)



I think by next time I will suggest for the town council to create a little section in the park with cribs for the youngest ones, so that they won't have to lie on the grass... Chansa probably spotted someone she finds hot..



Gaute is being his usual party animal self, doing the smustle dance at "The Elegant Flame".



Leya is also there, discussing aesthetics of umbrellas with the town criminal... He tells her that if she is really interested in umbrellas, he knows where he can get them, lots of them, and really really cheap, too... He tries to talk her into doing business with him, but Leya has never been into anything for the money..



Solvej has now left the Youth House of Science and is now heading for the hospital...(The Youth House of Science is a seperate building behind the Science Center, mostly geared towards high school students, but open for all ages...)



While Solvej is at the hospital giving birth, Baturney and Agathi still hangs out at the park, but is beginning to think it is soon time to head home..

Solvej was indeed very pregnant, as she left the hospital having given birth to not only one, but two beatiful little girls she decided to name Silvia and Lilian. Sims living in Sprottenham appear to get twins more often than sims elsewhere.. must be something in the water..

Agathi and Baturney are getting really tired now from being out all day and is heading back home, but Iselin is very happy to ride the stroller.



Ruben enjoys it too, but feels a little more like his parents. :P



They put the young ones to bed, and everyone goes peacefully to sleep. Nighty night. ;)
